Binge Worthy TV Shows You May Not Have Considered

Is it late on a Sunday night and you’re looking for something to watch on tv but all the shows you regularly enjoy are over for the week or season. Below is a fun list of some great shows you may not have considered. You might just find your new favourite series among these options.

Younger

Full of love, laughter, and many quirky moments, “Younger” will have you glued to your tv within the first episode of this series. Created by Darren Star, the same writer as Beverly Hills 90210 and the more recently, Emily in Paris, this guy knows how to hook you with show’s loveable characters and dramatic storyline.

This show focuses on millennial life, but the scenarios are relatable to any age group. What exactly is “Younger” all about? In order to get a job in publishing, 40-year-old mother, Liza Miller, pretends to be 26-years old. The narrative engulfs you in her romances, friendships, and her trials and tribulations of trying to understand social media and all other trends of the new working world. Paired with a little comedic relief, you will thoroughly enjoy every scene as the story unfolds in each short episode.

You will fall in love with Younger…

Bridgerton

Creator, Chris Van Dusen, sets Regency era England against a modern-day musical score. Watch carefully for the twisting plot as it unfolds into more than just a tale of formal dress balls and societal restrictions. If you listen carefully you will hear modern musical renditions like Maroon 5’s “Girl Like You” and Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood” as they are skillfully played by an orchestra to give a classical sound, keeping with the era of the show. Narrated by Lady Whistledown, voiced by Julie Andrews, each line in the script is purposely thought through to constantly leave you on the edge of your seat.

If it’s drama you want, it’s drama you’ll get. The show follows the Bridgerton family through lust, betrayal, and secrets of the wealthy. Already picked up for season 2, anticipation mounts for the next scandalous tale told by Lady Whistledown.

The Baker and the Beauty – U.S. Version

Get ready to fall for the loveable characters in The Baker and the Beauty. Adapted from an Israeli romantic comedy, episode after episode will leave you fixated on your screen until you have watched every story from the first and only season.

This romance created by Dean Georgaris, tells the story of Daniel Garcia and how sparks ignite between him and famous superstar, Noa Hollander. As the story unfolds you will immediately connect with the Garcia family through each of their little tales.

You will be gushing one moment and unexpectedly crying the next as you watch more of this heartwarming show. So, get the tissues out and have some wine with your girls or significant other. The Baker and the Beauty will definitely have you instantly falling in love.
